What you might say? Generally, a holiday is used to describe any day additional to your normal days off. Is this what we are talking about? What makes Sunday a holiday? In A.D. 321, it was Emperor Constantine who decreed that the seven-day week was the official Roman week and made ‘Sunday’ a public holiday. He commanded that all work should cease on that day (Sunday). So why have we given up our holiday?
Have you ever gone around and tried to get others to see the truth? They just don’t seem to understand what is being said. They laugh and say that’s impossible. Where is their faith in the impossible? Why is it that when the impossible is right in front of their eyes they finally understand?
Being satisfied and feeling fulfilled is what we all ultimately strive for. Are you happy with what you have? Many might say that they are not, even though they have a lot. What’s missing? Perhaps you remain unconvinced. Ask yourself this: what would you be willing to do to have guaranteed satisfaction?
Unquestionably, there is no such thing as caring too much. Or is there? It is good to care about others, but when is enough, enough? When we sacrifice ourselves to please others, we can enter dangerous territory. When we care more about what others think of us than how we feel about ourselves, are we heading for doom? ·
