Everyone has a frequency in which they communicate with God. For example, your cell phone number is different from mine. So, we must ask, "What do we want God to do for us?" David, Daniel and Sampson all dealt with lions. God handle each situation differently. God has a unique way for you to deal with the lion in your life! He doesn't' need you to be perfect. He needs you to be led by his Spirit.
